Meet The Physician’s Assistant

Yvonne desmet, PA-C

Yvonne brings her extensive educational background and vast medical experience to the PCNS team. A registered nurse for nearly two decades before graduating from Duke University’s Physician Assistant Program, Yvonne has worked in a wide variety of medical and sports medicine settings—from the Pacific Northwest to the Atlantic Southeast.

Yvonne’s PA experience includes both neurosurgery and orthopaedics, giving her an in-depth understanding of conditions that affect the body’s mobility and/or cause acute or chronic pain. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and has practiced in Wilmington since 2001.
